Stars is a food discovery and review app. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you can delete it.
Your email address and password (or your Google account, if you sign in that way), profile info you add yourself (display name, bio, city, avatar, optional social links), and the content you post: reviews (ratings, text, visit date, photos), table booking requests, and actions like follows, saved restaurants, upvotes, and compliments. We don't collect your device's location, and we don't use any ad-tracking or analytics SDK.
To show your reviews and profile to other users, calculate restaurant ratings, pass booking requests between you and restaurant owners, and show your own activity back to you (badges, level, trust score).
Your level, XP, and badges are calculated from your own review and photo activity and shown to you for fun — they aren't stored separately. Your trust score is calculated from your reviews, photos, and the upvotes and compliments other people give you, and it affects how much your ratings count toward a restaurant's average.
Stars runs on Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) as its infrastructure provider. We don't run our own servers — Supabase hosts and processes this data on our behalf.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists, or until you delete it.
We don't sell your data, and we don't run ads or third-party tracking in this app. Reviews, ratings, and public profile info are visible to other Stars users, like any social review app. Saved restaurants are private to you, and booking details are visible only to you and the restaurant you booked with.
You can delete your account any time from Settings, under Danger Zone. You choose whether to anonymize your reviews and photos (they stay attached to the restaurants you reviewed, but are no longer linked to your name) or delete everything you've ever posted along with your account. If you're in the EU, this is also your right to erasure under GDPR — the in-app option is the fastest way to use it.

These terms cover your use of Stars. By using the app, you agree to them.
You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens under your account. You need to be old enough in your country to agree to these terms yourself.
You keep ownership of your reviews and photos. By posting them, you let Stars show them to other users as part of the app — on a restaurant's page, or on your profile. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, or that's false, abusive, or illegal.
A booking request you send through Stars goes to the restaurant's owner account, who accepts or declines it. Stars can't guarantee a restaurant will honor a confirmed booking — it's a request-and-response system, not a live reservation system.
Don't misuse the app: no impersonating other people or restaurants, no manipulating ratings with fake reviews or vote rings, no scraping, and no trying to access other people's accounts or data.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.
These terms may change as the app develops. We'll update the date at the top of this page when they do.
Stars is in a testing phase and is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Restaurant info — hours, contact details, availability — may be inaccurate or out of date.

Deine E-Mail-Adresse und dein Passwort (oder dein Google-Konto, falls du dich so anmeldest), Profilangaben, die du selbst hinzufügst (Anzeigename, Bio, Stadt, Profilbild, optionale Social-Links), und die Inhalte, die du postest: Bewertungen (Ratings, Text, Besuchsdatum, Fotos), Tischanfragen und Aktionen wie Follows, gespeicherte Restaurants, Upvotes und Komplimente. Um deine Bewertungen und dein Profil anderen Nutzern zu zeigen, Restaurant-Bewertungen zu berechnen, Buchungsanfragen zwischen dir und Restaurantbesitzern weiterzuleiten und dir deine eigene Aktivität anzuzeigen (Abzeichen, Level, Vertrauenswert).
Dein Level, deine XP und deine Abzeichen werden aus deiner eigenen Bewertungs- und Foto-Aktivität berechnet und dir zum Spaß angezeigt — sie werden nicht separat gespeichert. Dein Vertrauenswert wird aus deinen Bewertungen, Fotos und den Upvotes und Komplimenten anderer berechnet und beeinflusst, wie stark deine Ratings in den Durchschnitt eines Restaurants einfließen.
Stars läuft auf Supabase (Datenbank, Authentifizierung und Dateispeicher) als Infrastrukturanbieter. Wir betreiben keine eigenen Server — Supabase hostet und verarbeitet diese Daten in unserem Auftrag.
Wir behalten deine Daten, solange dein Konto besteht, oder bis du sie löschst.
Wir verkaufen deine Daten nicht und schalten in dieser App weder Werbung noch Tracking von Drittanbietern. Bewertungen, Ratings und öffentliche Profilangaben sind für andere Stars-Nutzer sichtbar, wie bei jeder Social-Review-App. Gespeicherte Restaurants sind privat, und Buchungsdetails sehen nur du und das gebuchte Restaurant.
Du kannst dein Konto jederzeit in den Einstellungen unter „Gefahrenzone“ löschen. Du entscheidest, ob deine Bewertungen und Fotos anonymisiert werden (sie bleiben bei den bewerteten Restaurants, sind aber nicht mehr mit deinem Namen verknüpft) oder ob alles, was du je gepostet hast, zusammen mit deinem Konto gelöscht wird. Falls du in der EU bist, ist das auch dein Recht auf Löschung nach der DSGVO — die Funktion in der App ist der schnellste Weg, es zu nutzen.

Du bist dafür verantwortlich, deine Zugangsdaten sicher zu halten, und für das, was unter deinem Konto passiert. Du musst in deinem Land alt genug sein, um diesen Bedingungen selbst zuzustimmen.
Deine Bewertungen und Fotos gehören weiterhin dir. Wenn du sie postest, erlaubst du Stars, sie anderen Nutzern als Teil der App zu zeigen — auf der Seite eines Restaurants oder in deinem Profil. Poste nichts, wozu du nicht berechtigt bist oder was falsch, beleidigend oder illegal ist.
Eine Buchungsanfrage, die du über Stars sendest, geht an das Besitzerkonto des Restaurants, das sie annimmt oder ablehnt. Stars kann nicht garantieren, dass ein Restaurant eine bestätigte Buchung einhält — es ist ein Anfrage-und-Antwort-System, kein Echtzeit-Reservierungssystem.
Missbrauche die App nicht: keine Vortäuschung anderer Personen oder Restaurants, keine Manipulation von Bewertungen durch Fake-Bewertungen oder Stimmenabsprachen, kein Scraping und keine Zugriffsversuche auf Konten oder Daten anderer.
Du kannst dein Konto jederzeit in den Einstellungen löschen. Wir können Konten sperren oder entfernen, die gegen diese Bedingungen verstoßen.
Diese Bedingungen können sich ändern, während sich die App weiterentwickelt. Wir aktualisieren dann das Datum oben auf dieser Seite.
Stars befindet sich in der Testphase und wird ohne jegliche Gewährleistung bereitgestellt. Restaurantangaben — Öffnungszeiten, Kontaktdaten, Verfügbarkeit — können ungenau oder veraltet sein.
